Sebastian City Hall & Friendship Park

As a sub-consultant to REG Architects, Schmidt Nichols provided site planning and landscape architecture for the City Hall of Sebastian, the neighboring Friendship Park, and the Emergency Operations Complex. The scope of this project included preservation and renovation of the existing historic city hall, renovation and expansion of the emergency operations complex, construction of the Boys & Girls Club and a public park that included tennis courts, ball fields, multi-purpose fields, picnic pavilions, nature trails and open spaces for passive recreation.  This six million dollar project was expedited and was completed under budget. In 2006, this project received the Excellence in Construction Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors Florida East Coast Chapter.
